Linus Torvalds Predicts RISC-V Will Repeat ARM and x86's Mistakes

Linux creator, Linus Torvalds, has recently expressed his views on the potential development trajectory of the RISC-V open-source hardware instruction set architecture (ISA). In an interview with Tom's Hardware, Torvalds predicted that RISC-V may replicate the same mistakes as ARM and x86 architectures.

RISC-V, an open-source hardware ISA, has been gaining significant traction in the technology industry for its potential in enabling custom, open-source chip designs. This ISA is designed from the ground up to be extensible and scalable, making it a promising platform for future hardware development.
