Additionally, Microsoft has provided solutions to a problem with Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV) that could cause a file system to become unresponsive to requests. It also tackled a problem where stop errors might occur when closing a laptop lid to transition the system to sleep mode.

Moreover, the new build fixes a problem that could cause applications to have unexpected memory consumption behavior when leveraging a graphics device interface (GDI). The update even addresses an issue that could lead to an error when executing the DiskShadow.exe utility that could prevent VSS snapshots from being created.

The update, however, does not come without its known issues. Microsoft has identified an issue with the release of KB5006738, where after installing it, a domain controller might fail to start during startup. They are currently working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

Microsoft has recommended users to install the latest servicing stack update (SSU) before installing the latest cumulative update (LCU). This would ensure that users have a robust and reliable update performance.
