Microsoft is significantly expanding the license cap for eligible CSP promotions, increasing it from 2,400 to 9,999 licenses to support high-volume enterprise deals.

What's Changing?

Effective immediately, Microsoft has raised the maximum license cap for several key CSP promotional offers:

Included in the Increase

All Microsoft 365 E3 promotions — Now supporting up to 9,999 licenses

All Microsoft 365 E5 promotions — Now supporting up to 9,999 licenses

Microsoft 365 Copilot promotions — Now supporting up to 9,999 licenses

Not Included

Copilot Business promotions — These remain capped at 300 licenses

Why This Matters

The previous 2,400-license cap created friction for large enterprise deals, often requiring workarounds or exceptions. This update:

- Simplifies large transactions by removing unnecessary barriers
- Aligns guidance across Core, Security, and Copilot offerings
- Accelerates upsell momentum for enterprise customers
- Reduces administrative overhead for partners managing high-volume deployments

Current Promotional Offers

Partners can take advantage of several active promotions:

- 10% off Microsoft 365 E3 annual subscriptions
- 10% off Security suites
- 10% off Microsoft 365 E5 three-year subscriptions
- 15% off E5 annual term for new-to-offer customers

Partner Benefits

With the expanded license cap, CSP partners can now:

- Pursue larger enterprise opportunities without promotional restrictions
- Offer competitive pricing on high-volume deals
- Simplify quote and provisioning processes for major accounts
- Align promotional strategy across the entire Microsoft 365 portfolio
