Microsoft is launching a new Security immersion briefing focused on small and midsize business (SMB) customers, with unlimited execution caps and expanded delivery options for all partners.

New Security Immersion Briefing for SMB

Microsoft has introduced a new Security immersion briefing specifically designed for Business Premium customers with 50–300 licenses. These 90-minute interactive sessions position partners as trusted security advisors, helping customers tackle rising cybersecurity threats with:

  • Microsoft Defender for Business Premium solutions
  • Microsoft Purview for Business Premium capabilities

Effective February 4, 2026, these briefings open new revenue paths and target customers beyond the existing Microsoft Enterprise (ME3) to Enterprise (ME5) conversion scenarios.

No Cap – Unlimited Scale

Partners can now run unlimited Security immersion briefings with a rolling 20 open submissions at a time. This removes the previous execution caps that limited briefing delivery and enables partners to scale their security consulting services.

Expanded Partner Eligibility

New delivery options allow both distributors and resellers to deliver and claim for the activity, creating flexibility and reach across the entire partner ecosystem. This means more partners can participate, whether they work directly with customers or through indirect channels.

How to Get Started

The new Advanced Security for Business Premium briefing is not currently listed on the Microsoft Commerce Incentive (MCI) platform. To deliver the briefing, partners must nominate customers in MCI through the standard nomination process and select either the Threat Protection Immersion Briefing or Data Security Immersion Briefing.
