Microsoft has significantly expanded the Security Immersion Briefing program, removing execution caps and introducing new offerings focused on small and medium businesses.

Major Changes

1. No Cap — Unlimited Scale

Partners can now run unlimited Security Immersion Briefings, with a rolling limit of 20 open submissions at a time. Previously, partners faced strict execution caps that limited their ability to scale security advisory services.

2. Expanded Partner Eligibility

New delivery options now allow:

- Distributors to deliver briefings directly
- Resellers to deliver and claim for the activity
- Enhanced collaboration between distributors and resellers

This creates more flexibility and reach for the partner ecosystem.

3. New SMB Revenue Paths

Microsoft has introduced new Security Immersion Briefings specifically designed for Business Premium customers with 50-300 licenses:

- Microsoft Defender Suite for Business Premium briefings
- Microsoft Purview Suite for Business Premium briefings

These complement existing scenarios for Microsoft 365 E3 to E5 conversion, opening new target customer segments.
