Migration options to evaluate

However, moving sideways between LTSC releases is still a migration project, not a simple monthly update. For devices that cannot move quickly, ESU may be the right short-term answer. It buys time for application owners, hardware vendors, procurement teams, and security teams to align. But it should come with an exit date and a named replacement plan.
