Creating new profiles in Chrome and Microsoft Edge allows you to keep your bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings separate. This can be especially useful if multiple people use the same device or if you want to keep your work and personal browsing separate. Here’s how you can create new profiles in both browsers:

For Google Chrome:

1. Open Chrome: Start by opening the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
2. Access Profile Section: Click on the profile icon, which is usually located in the upper right corner of the window, next to the three dots menu. If you're not currently signed into a profile, this icon may look like a person or a circle.
3. Add a Profile: In the profile menu, find and click on "Add" or "Add Profile." This will start the process of creating a new profile.
4. Customize the Profile: You can customize your new profile by choosing a name and a theme color. You may also choose an avatar for the profile.
5. Complete Setup: Click "Add" to finalize the creation of the new profile. Chrome might offer you to sign in with a Google Account to sync bookmarks, history, passwords, and more. This step is optional.
6. Switch Between Profiles: Once the profile is created, you can switch between profiles by clicking on the profile icon and selecting the desired profile.
