Microsoft has recently launched the Partner Center AI assistant (preview) in the English version of Partner Center. This innovative feature uses generative AI to deliver tailored insights and intelligent suggestions, providing quick answers to questions and optimizing day-to-day workflows. The AI assistant is now available to all partners and can be accessed via the sparkle icon located on the upper-right corner of the Partner Center page, across all workspaces. Microsoft is actively working to expand this feature to more languages and users by the end of 2024.
The Partner Center AI assistant (preview) is seamlessly integrated into the Partner Center experience. It continues your conversation as you navigate through the platform and can create a support ticket when needed. Responses are pulled from Microsoft product documentation, partner program guides, and your data in Partner Center. The AI assistant is constantly being enhanced to provide individualized support across workspaces.
To start using the AI assistant, partners need to sign in to the Partner Center dashboard, select the AI assistant sparkle icon, and begin a conversation by selecting a topic from the drop-down menu or asking a question. As the AI assistant feature is rolled out to other languages, an alert will appear within Partner Center notifying partners that the feature is now available for their use.
If partners need further assistance during their conversation with the AI assistant, they can use the Contact Support option at the bottom of the AI assistant panel. This option is available after engaging with the AI assistant for help. The AI assistant automatically populates the problem summary and shares the conversation with the support agent.
Microsoft encourages partners to use the thumbs up/down control and comment box to leave feedback to help improve the AI assistant experience. Partners can learn more about the AI assistant capabilities and updates on new released capabilities by visiting the Partner Copilot overview.
In addition to the AI assistant, Microsoft has also republished the October software price list to include additional Extended Security Update (ESU) SKUs. This impacts Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners, direct-bill partners, and indirect providers who use software price lists in all markets/currencies. The republished software price list features a change history for products modified in October, resulting in duplicate entries.
