Updated CSP Program Guide and Retirement of Get Licensing Ready Platform Important Information for Partners

The Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) Program Guide, a comprehensive manual for online services and software channel authorization, has been updated as of November 21, 2024. The changes outlined in the updated guide will become effective on December 21, 2024. This update is relevant to all CSP partners who are encouraged to review the updated CSP Program Guide to familiarize themselves with the impending changes. The changes will be automatically applied to current partners, requiring no further action from either party.

In addition to the CSP Program Guide update, it's important to note that the Get Licensing Ready platform will be retiring on January 1, 2025. All partners are advised to secure their certifications on the Get Licensing Ready website before this date. Active modules must be completed and certificates downloaded by December 31, 2024. It's important to note that current certifications will remain valid for one year from the date of issuance. However, Microsoft will not be able to provide copies of certifications after December 31, 2024. The support alias for Get Licensing Ready will also retire on January 1, 2025.

Despite the retirement of the Get Licensing Ready platform, content related to it will still be available on the Microsoft Licensing site. Partners are encouraged to complete any active modules and download their certificates on the Get Licensing Ready site by the end of 2024. For additional resources, partners can explore the Partner Incentives Co-op Guidebook.

These updates and changes are part of the ongoing efforts to streamline processes and provide the most up-to-date information and resources to partners. As always, partners are encouraged to stay informed and take the necessary steps to ensure they are prepared for these changes.
