In a recent announcement, Microsoft has retired the Transaction history, Revenue summary, Payment, and Export pages from the Earnings workspace pages – Earnings, Revenue, and Reports. This change, which took effect on November 14, 2023, impacts all partners who use Partner Center to view earnings and payouts. This includes Incentive Admin and Incentive Users for the incentive programs and Account Owner for store and marketplace programs.
Microsoft communicated this change through an in-page banner on the Earning, Revenue, and Reports pages. The old pages that were part of the Payouts workspace have been permanently retired. In their place, Microsoft has introduced new pages that have parity with the old ones, along with new features.
The new pages offer a range of features for change management. For instance, users can view earning total per program, total payments received, individual payment orders sent from Microsoft, pending payment orders, and earning details per payment order. They can also view earnings by status, earnings and payment trends, and estimated payment month.
The new pages also offer detailed transaction history earning details. This includes details with every earning listed, default transaction history, and default marketplace or default store reports.
In addition, Microsoft has made several reports available for download. These include Earning, transaction, payment status details - Default Transaction history, Earning, transaction, payment status details (Growth Levers) – Transaction summary, Earning, transaction, payment status details - Default Marketplace, Earning, transaction, payment status details - Default Store, and Payment details – Payments.
This change is part of Microsoft's ongoing efforts to improve the user experience and provide more comprehensive and useful information to its partners. The new pages offer a more streamlined and efficient way to view and manage earnings and payouts.
For more information about the new Earnings workspace pages features and FAQs, users are encouraged to visit the Microsoft Partner Center.
