In an effort to streamline operations and enhance efficiency, Microsoft has announced a significant change to its CSP-Hoster reporting process. As of October 2023, the tech giant has transitioned from monthly to quarterly reporting, a move that is expected to simplify the reporting process for existing CSP-Hosters.
The new quarterly reporting template was launched in October 2023, replacing the previous monthly reporting template. This revamped template has been pared down to include only six products and their respective license totals, making it easier for CSP-Hosters to manage their reporting responsibilities.
One of the most notable changes in this new reporting process is that CSP-Hosters are no longer required to provide end-customer information for either license-included or Bring Your Own License (BYOL). This change is expected to further streamline the reporting process, reducing the administrative burden on CSP-Hosters.
The first quarterly report, covering the period from October to December 2023, is due by January 10, 2024. CSP-Hosters can find the new reporting template in the Partner Center.
As we move forward into this new reporting period, we encourage all CSP-Hosters to leverage the new reporting template to submit their quarterly reports by the January 10, 2024 deadline. This new process is designed to be more efficient and less time-consuming, allowing CSP-Hosters to focus more on their core business operations.
Microsoft has provided a dedicated email address, [email protected], for partners who may have questions or need further clarification on the new reporting process. This change is part of Microsoft's ongoing commitment to improving its services and making life easier for its partners.
