At Qloud Blog, we're thrilled to share Microsoft's latest announcement regarding their "Billing overview (NCE)" page. This page will soon become the default landing page in the "Billing" workspace. This change, set to take effect on January 24, 2024, will impact all global partners who transact with the new commerce products.
The "Billing overview (NCE)" page is designed to be faster and more efficient than the current "Billing history" landing page. It will serve as the primary page for checking and downloading current and past invoices, as well as billing reconciliation files for new commerce programs. Additionally, it will provide billing-related information and allow users to submit withholding tax receipts to meet regulatory tax and compliance requirements.
This change in the user experience means that the landing page will now be the "Billing overview (NCE)" page instead of the "Billing history" page. However, users can still access their legacy billing details by selecting the "Billing history" link in the left-side task menu. This new landing page promises better performance and a more user-friendly experience.
The new landing page offers several benefits, including quicker access to billing data. The loading speed of the new landing page is more than triple that of the current landing page, allowing users to quickly access their new commerce billing details. The efficient design of the new "Billing overview (NCE)" page includes more details to help users make better decisions. The improved layout shows billed invoices and related reconciliation files in one place at the bottom of the page, organized by billing status (billed or unbilled), for easier tracking. Estimates file names are sorted by billing month and type for easy access.
Microsoft believes these changes will enhance the billing experience and provide users with a more seamless and intuitive platform to manage their financial activities. The transition to the new landing page is planned for early February 2024. To ensure a smooth transition process, Microsoft urges users to inform their users about the change and ensure they're aware of the necessary adjustments to find related billing information.
At Qloud Blog, we're committed to keeping you updated with the latest developments and improvements from Microsoft. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to serving you in the new and improved billing workspace!
