Microsoft Announces Changes to Referrals APIs in Partner Center for Enhanced Partner Experience and Customer Satisfaction

These fields are designed to help Microsoft Sellers comprehend the customer's needs in a more standardized manner. This, in turn, will facilitate better alignment between partners and Microsoft sellers on the customer's objectives.

The 'Solution Area' field will provide a broader view of the customer's needs, while the 'Solution Play' field will offer a more detailed insight into the specific solutions that the customer is interested in. This will enable Microsoft Sellers to tailor their approach to each customer more effectively, ultimately leading to improved customer satisfaction and increased sales.

It's important to note that these fields are optional for IP Co-sell deals shared with Microsoft. This means that partners have the flexibility to choose whether or not to include these fields when sharing IP Co-sell deals with Microsoft.

These upcoming changes to the Referrals APIs are a clear indication of Microsoft's commitment to improving the partner experience and enhancing customer satisfaction.
