In a recent announcement from Microsoft, it was revealed that the donation product SKUs for nonprofits were mistakenly omitted from the March 1, 2024 Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) price list preview. This announcement impacts CSP partners, including indirect providers and direct bill, across all markets, countries, and regions.
Starting from March 1, 2024, Microsoft plans to introduce Public Sector offers, including Government Community Cloud, education, and nonprofit, in the CSP's new commerce. Partners are advised to review the updated timeline and wave schedule to understand when each wave will be published.
The March price list preview for CSP is missing two donation product SKUs for nonprofits. As previously communicated, these SKUs will be available for purchase from March 1, 2024, and will be visible on the new commerce license-based price list in the Partner Center Pricing workspace. The missing SKUs include Microsoft 365 Business Premium (Product ID: CFQ7TTC0LCHC) and Power Apps Per App (one app or website) with the Product ID CFQ7TTC0J4GS.
Microsoft has advised partners to share this information with all relevant contacts within their organizations. To assist with the transition, partners can refer to the Legacy Offer Matrix in the Partner Center Pricing workspace. This tool will allow partners to find the name of their legacy subscription and learn when it will be released in new commerce.
Additionally, partners can review the list of Public Sector legacy offers scheduled for retirement in the CSP Offer Retirement Guide. This guide, updated monthly, provides lists of offer IDs being retired, the dates after which renewals will stop, and guidance for partners on how to fill the gap for subscriptions that stop renewing to new terms.
