As a leading platform for cloud solutions, we at Qloud Blog are excited to share Microsoft's latest announcements regarding their Copilot offerings. Starting March 1, 2024, Copilot for Sales and Copilot for Service will be available for transaction through Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs). This is a significant development for all CSP partners transacting Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365.
Copilot for Sales and Copilot for Service are designed to be purchased as commercial, standalone add-on SKUs. Both of these offerings include Copilot for Microsoft 365. This means that customers who already own Copilot for Microsoft 365 can choose to upgrade or transition to Copilot for Sales or Copilot for Service.
The prerequisites for these new offerings are the same as those for Copilot for Microsoft 365. These include Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Office 365 E3, Office 365 E5, Microsoft 365 E3, or Microsoft 365 E5. There's no minimum license purchase requirement for either Copilot for Sales or Copilot for Service. However, customers must have a product license of one of the prerequisite base SKUs for each license of Copilot for Sales or Copilot for Service they purchase.
In addition to these exciting developments, Copilot for Microsoft 365 will also be available for Education customers via CSP Partners in New Commerce (NCE). Like the commercial SKU, the Copilot for Microsoft 365 EDU SKU will be priced at $30 per user per month. There's no minimum order size, and customers must have a product license of one of the prerequisite base SKUs for each license of Copilot for Microsoft 365 EDU they purchase. Eligible prerequisites are: Office 365 A3, Office 365 A5, Microsoft 365 A3, and Microsoft 365 A5.
These new offerings present a significant opportunity for CSP Partners to help every customer become an AI-powered organization, regardless of their size. We encourage our partners to start defining their strategy and operationalizing their sales engine today.

Furthermore, Microsoft is offering CSP Masters Copilot for Microsoft 365 Sales and Technical Bootcamps, and resources to help build a CSP Partner practice and offerings to monetize the Copilot for Microsoft 365 opportunity.
