In a recent announcement, Microsoft has republished its new commerce license-based price list and offer list matrix as of March 14, 2024. This update comes after the launch of Public Sector products on March 1, 2024. The republished price list details and the upcoming changes to the April 1 price list have been made available for review.
The republished price list was necessitated by the identification of errors in the March 1, 2024, new commerce Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) Public Sector price list and offer list matrix. These errors have now been corrected and the updated list has been republished.
However, it is important to note that there might be inconsistencies between the March 14 price list preview and the April 1 price list. This is due to the fact that some of the changes shown in the preview will only be included in the next publication.
Among the changes in the March 1 price list republish, Microsoft 365 Business Premium Donation, Power Apps per app plan, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 are now available for purchase. The price list and catalog show a price of $0 for these products. SKU titles with spelling errors have also been corrected in the price list.
Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 A3 and A5, which were previously communicated as not having plans for monthly billing, have been removed from the price list and catalog. Power BI Premium P5 and Dynamics 365 Team Members for Government have also been removed from the March price list, but will be available from April 1.
Promotions for the new commerce seat-based nonprofit month-to-month (M2M) offers will be generally available on March 18, 2024.
Looking ahead to the April 1 price list, several Public Sector SKUs that are currently appearing on the price list will be removed as their Commercial SKUs are end of sale (EOS). These include Azure Information Protection Premium P1, SharePoint Syntex, and Universal Print Additional Capacity.
Microsoft 365 Apps and Microsoft Intune for Education, which are available for purchase at $0 from March 12, will be added to the April 1 price list. Suite SKUs (E1/E3/E5) missing from the EEA price list and catalog will also be added to the April 1 price list.
Microsoft has updated the offer list matrix to reflect that some wave 1 and 2 Public Sector offers are not yet migratable. Information on new SKU mappings/migration paths will be provided for April.
As a Cloud Solution Provider partner, it is crucial to share this information with all appropriate contacts in your organization. Stay tuned to Qloud Blog for more updates on Microsoft's announcements.
