At Qloud Blog, we are thrilled to announce that Microsoft is evolving its co-sell program for partners providing services. This development is designed to align with the way you conduct business, making co-selling simpler and more efficient for qualified services partners.
As of March 18, 2024, qualified partners can navigate to the Referrals workspace in the Partner Center and commence co-selling on deals with Microsoft by creating services co-sell deals. This is a significant shift from the previous requirement where services partners had to publish consulting services offers in the commercial marketplace to qualify for co-selling with Microsoft. However, partners who have existing consulting services offers can continue to use them for co-selling with Microsoft.
Microsoft is encouraging services partners to publish a modern business profile to increase their visibility to Microsoft sellers and engage in co-selling motions. This is a crucial step in ensuring that your organization is fully prepared to engage in co-selling. It is essential that members of your marketing team understand the importance of business profiles and contribute to populating your organization's profile in the Partner Center. For more information on how to manage your business profile, you can refer to the guide on 'Manage your business profile (Partner ID based)'.
It's important to note that in order to receive the benefits of services co-selling, services partners must have at least one Solutions Partner designation. This is a prerequisite that ensures that only qualified partners can participate in the co-selling program.
For more information on the services co-sell program, you can refer to the 'Services co-sell' section.
This evolution of the co-sell program for partners providing services is a testament to Microsoft's commitment to simplifying and enhancing the co-selling process. It is an exciting development that promises to bring about increased discoverability and business opportunities for services partners. At Qloud Blog, we look forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on our partners and the broader business community.
