As a leading voice in the cloud technology space, Qloud Blog is excited to share the latest updates from Microsoft. The tech giant recently announced the launch of new Government Community Cloud (GCC) offers on its Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) new commerce platform. The offers will be available starting April 1, 2024, and are expected to bring a new level of efficiency and security to government agencies.
In addition to the GCC offers, Microsoft is also introducing a special promotion for nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit customers who meet the Nonprofits Grants and Credits eligibility requirements can now avail promotions on select Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform SKUs. The promotion offers a 16.67% discount with a monthly commitment from March 18, 2024, to December 31, 2024. This initiative is part of Microsoft's ongoing commitment to support the nonprofit sector and empower them with the necessary digital tools.
However, it's important to note that Microsoft has identified errors in the April 1, 2024 CSP new commerce Public Sector price list. The company has provided a detailed list of the issues and the necessary partner actions on their website. The issues range from SKUs that were scheduled for April 1 but are now end of sale (EOS), to products that were launched without a price list preview.
One of the key issues identified is the delay of certain SKUs that were scheduled for April 1 but have been pushed to May 1. These SKUs are currently on the price list preview and will be purchasable from May 1. Additionally, 28 products that were launched on March 1 were end of sale (EOS) in March. Partners are advised to review customer quotes generated from the price list preview to confirm availability.
Microsoft has also addressed the issue of the "1 Year paid monthly for CFQ7TTC0LGV4 Dynamics 365 Finance (Non-Profit Pricing)" SKU not being on the April 1 price list. The company has confirmed that it will be added on May 1 and will be purchasable from that date.
In light of these updates, Microsoft has urged all Cloud Solution Provider partners to share this information with all appropriate contacts in their organization. As always, Qloud Blog will continue to keep you updated on the latest developments in the cloud technology space.
