Changes to Billing History Page for Enhanced User Experience and Performance

In an effort to enhance user experience and boost performance, changes are being made to the billing history page. Starting August 14, 2024, the new commerce billing details will be moved from the "Billing history" page to the "Billing overview new commerce experience (NCE)" page. This change will impact all global Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program partners.

The "Billing history" page will now only display legacy billing details. The new commerce billing information, including invoices, reconciliation files, costs, payments, and balances, will be available on the "Billing overview NCE" page. Users will only be able to access their new commerce invoices and reconciliation files from this page, which will also show the total account balance for new commerce invoices. This change will not affect the billing APIs.

This change will take effect on September 17, 2024. After this date, when users sign in to the Partner Center portal and navigate to the Billing workspace, they will land on the "Billing overview NCE" page. This page will only display the invoices, reconciliation files, and billing details of the new commerce program. To access the legacy invoices, reconciliation files, and billing details, users will need to navigate to the "Billing history" page. No new commerce billing information will be displayed on the "Billing history" page.

The separation of legacy and new commerce billing pages will bring several benefits. Firstly, it will provide a logical separation, organizing legacy and new commerce experiences into separate pages, enhancing overall clarity. Secondly, the "Billing overview NCE" page will load three times faster than the Billing history page, improving efficiency. Lastly, the "Billing overview NCE" page has been structured more clearly and logically, simplifying navigation and access. It includes extra details to help partners make better decisions.

All relevant users of your company who use the billing workspace should be informed about this change and asked to start using the "Billing overview NCE" page for new commerce billing. If you have any questions or feedback about the change, please feel free to contact us.
